Les technologies et les normes sans fil se multiplient. En voici un rapide décryptage.
Crée en 1994 par Ericsson, Bluetooth a pour objet de faire disparaître les câblages entre deux terminaux.
Le 21 avril prochain, Bluetooth Special Interest Group, devrait officialiser les spécifications du Bluetooth 3.0. Son intégration sur les terminaux ne devraient intervenir qu’à partir de 2010. Les vitesses de transfert de données devraient être augmentées.
Cependant, il demeure le problème de la sécurité des données. (le cryptage étant réduit à 4 chiffres)
Le NFC permet la communication entre plusieurs terminaux.
Son usage risque de se démultiplier dans les prochaines années, notamment ceux concernant le paiement, la billetique, le couponing, le contrôle d’accès.
Le moins: le périmètre reste limité (quelques centimètres).
Le plus: sécurité des données.
